Our Flat-Cap & Stem is designed to sit on top of a wooden 2×4 vertical post. The Stem is designed to angle the CITTAC Steel Target downward at approximately 20 degree angle. The angle helps deflect bullet splatter down and away from the user and also helps to dissipate energy away from the target thereby extend the target life. The Flat-Cap & Stem allows for easy target assembly without to use of any tools. Cap & Stem ship painted.

If you choose the "Armored" option, the Flat-Cap will come with a piece of 3/8"AR500 steel welded to the front offering bullet proof protection from the potential strayround.
